Seems very sturdy. Wich is the whole point of the product. of course. I have'nt been testing it for long and can't speak to endurance. On the downside. I've seen much smoother machining of the rivits. so make sure your derailleur is'nt the tight kind of 8-speed-derailleur. For the price. I'd say it's excellent.

Couldn't find a non anodized compact double in the US when I ordered this crankset from across the pond. I had it on my 92 Paramount for 7 years and 35K miles and just transferred it to sons restored Ross Paragon. Am purchasing a replacement soon as I finish this review. The crank is flawless. Functional beauty.

Stronglight BB is very smooth, has a nice finish on metal

Set this up with a 24/38/50 (my custom ring combo) triple Stronglight crankset and it is smooth as silk! This BB actually IMPROVED my chain line over the previous double chainring setup I had. but I struggled to then find a front derailleur that would come in far enough towards the seat tube to shift properly. but this isn't the fault of the BB or crankset. Finally I used a Shimano XT front derailleur. seems to work. esp. when shifting down quickly from big chainring.
Shipping was quick enough. esp. considering France to U.S.

Unique single speed fixed gear track crank with 130 BCD

This design integrates the axle to the left crank arm and places the bearings inside the bottom bracket shell. The knurled pressed in chain ring nuts are a nice touch. 130 BCD allows for more ring options. Nice finish. Quality and style in the same package.
