Campagnolo Ekar Gravel Rear Hydraulic Disc Brake

The Campagnolo Ekar rear hydraulic disc brake remains true to the brand's philosophy, guaranteeing high performance and style. The internal hydraulic system of the Ekar is identical to that of the other Campagnolo calipers, using mineral oil and ensuring excellent modulation. And while it offers an exclusive and optimal feel on the road, it works even better on Gravel courses. It features a new design and a special finish for coordination with the other components of the groupset. The DB310 pads are made with a unique organic compound that not only offers high braking performance, but also better wear resistance: a major advantage in the demanding environment of gravel, on wet or dry terrain.
This caliper is combined with the Ekar shift and brake lever, ensuring precise braking and maximum comfort thanks to the Vari-Cushion handrests. The lever has been redesigned. It is now larger and C-shaped, making it easy to reach with your right thumb while pedalling with your hands up on the handlebar. This lever adapts to your hand size thanks to its adjustable guard. To further improve control on gravel courses, the aluminium brake lever and hand rests are laser-etched with an extra weave to improve grip in all conditions. The laser-made pattern is also resistant to wear and tear from sweat, dirt and detergents: a Gravel-proof solution. The Ultra-Shift™ internal mechanism controls the 13-speed rear derailleur, allowing you to shift up to 3 Sprockets in one move. The reliability of each downhill shift is especially valuable on gravel courses where the terrain can be slippery, bumpy and unpredictable. With the differentiated action levers, you'll never miss a gear shift - even in the toughest off-road conditions, the proven Campagnolo One-Lever-One-Action technology ensures perfect control.
