Description
The Fizik Terra Alpaca X5 is a mountain bike saddle that offers support and control on uphill and downhill. It has been designed for all suspension bikes and will give you the best feeling whether your seatpost is raised for pedalling or lowered for downhill riding.
Its width (145 mm) provides excellent support for pedalling. You will be able to move easily over it thanks to the gradual transition from the nose to the fenders allowing you to move back and forth, while the slightly undulating rear supports your lower back. In addition, the wide, flat nose provides a solid platform on which you can push while swinging forward to maintain traction on steep climbs.
For added comfort, the Terra Alpaca X5 has an ergonomic reinforcement that relieves pressure on the soft tissues without getting in the way of wearing loose shorts.
The rounded contours of the Terra Alpaca allow a smooth and quick movement of your legs around the saddle to help you stay on course. And the flexible edges along the fenders and in the back protect your inner legs from bruising, even when riding rough.
Finally, the Terra Alpaca saddle features Mobius rails, an exclusive closed-loop design, for added strength and better weight distribution, making broken rails on heavy landings a thing of the past.
