Description
The Fizik Terra Alpaca X5 is a mountain bike saddle that offers support and control both up and downhill. It has been designed for full suspension bikes and will give you the best feeling whether your seatpost is raised for pedalling or lowered for descending.
Its width (145 mm) offers excellent support for pedalling. You can easily move around on it thanks to the gradual transition from the nose to the fenders allowing you to move back and forth, while the slightly undulating rear supports your lower back. In addition, the wide, flat nose provides a solid platform to push off from while rocking forward to maintain traction on steep climbs.
For added comfort, the Terra Alpaca X5 has an ergonomic brace that relieves pressure on soft tissue without getting in the way when wearing loose shorts.
The Terra Alpaca's rounded contours allow your legs to move smoothly and quickly around the saddle to help you stay on course. And the flexible edges along the fenders and at the rear protect your inner legs from bruising, even if the ride is rough.
Finally, the Terra Alpaca saddle features Mobius rails, an exclusive closed-loop design, for added strength and better weight distribution, making broken rails on heavy landings a thing of the past.
In addition, this saddle comes with a carrying kit, allowing you to take your multi-tool and two CO2 cartridges with you. It attaches to the underside of the saddle with a screw. Once installed, it is completely integrated into the silhouette of your saddle and does not interfere with pedalling.
