The WTB Nano SG2 tyre has been designed for gravel and cyclocross. Built for speed, it features a nearly uninterrupted centre line for an efficient ride over rough terrain, while the staggered outer lugs provide exceptional grip both uphill and in corners. Its high-volume 40mm casing reduces pressure and provides a smoother ride while reducing drag and rolling resistance.
In addition, the tyre features SG2 puncture protection technology. Its bead to bead coverage ensures that the tread and sidewalls are protected from nicks and punctures. The SG2 nylon fibres have a unique flat profile that reduces the amount of rubber between the fibres. The improved fibre to rubber ratio increases puncture resistance, reduces weight and improves the overall liveliness of the tyre. While it efficiently protects against punctures, the SG2, with its tightly packed fibres, also provides better air retention to better maintain pressure between runs.
