The Fizik Terra Argo X5 saddle has been specifically designed for Gravel riding. This versatile short-nosed saddle has a carbon-reinforced nylon shell and Mobius aluminium rails.

• More stability

While a traditionally shaped saddle encourages riders to change position frequently for better leverage, the Argo places riders in a more planted position, allowing for greater stability and better weight distribution. The reduced length of the Terra Argo allows riders to sit further forward without putting excessive pressure on sensitive areas. It also has an ergonomic cut-out that was developed based on detailed pressure analysis and feedback from medical experts.

• Gravel specific saddle

The Argo is a very versatile saddle, with each version adapted to different riding styles. As a Gravel-specific option, the Terra Argo has been designed with a soft shell to provide a degree of flexibility. This controlled elasticity absorbs road noise and vibration, providing the comfort needed for long rides on unpaved roads.

• Stability and responsiveness

To further support the Terra Argo's flexible shell, Fizik uses the Mobius closed-loop rail system for increased structural stability and responsiveness. The Terra Argo features a wavy profile to provide the lumbar support needed for long rides and to help riders maintain their position when climbing on loose terrain. The same goes for the lowered nose design that allows riders to rotate their pelvis while pushing forward on the nose for better traction and power transfer.

• Long distance comfort

The padding is made from fizik's exclusive Type 2 foam formulation, slightly thicker around the ischial bone area to support a more upright riding posture. The padding is slightly softer and more progressive than the type used in the brand's racing saddles, offering greater comfort over longer distances.
