The Shimano XTR CS-M9200 cassette represents the evolution of HyperGlide+ shifting. The new tooth profiles on the sprockets improve shifting even under heavy loads while remaining smooth, fast and durable. It is also MICRO SPLINE compatible and is designed with steel, titanium and alloy sprockets to optimise weight and durability.

- Compact 9-45 tooth drivetrain: When paired with smaller chainrings and the XTR medium cage rear derailleur, the XTR 9-45 tooth cassette offers a lightweight option and more clearance with a 500% gear range without sacrificing performance.
- Freewheel body compatibility: The CS-M9200 cassette is compatible with the standard MicroSpline freewheel body. The 9-45 D cassette is mounted using a special locking tool (TL-LR021).
- Material: The strategic use of steel, titanium and aluminium ensures that the CS-M9200 cassette is light and strong enough to give riders complete confidence.
