Description
The Maxxis Shorty tyre has been designed to offer the best wet traction, exceptional cornering performance and great mud shedding ability. Highly versatile, it is equally at home on wet or dry terrain. The wide, chunky side lugs provide great stability when cornering, even at high speeds. The tread, with its widely-spaced lugs, ensures effective evacuation of stones and mud, while its square shape guarantees hard braking. It's also fitted with the triple compound MaxxTerra tread compound, which offers an excellent compromise, with better traction and more grip than MaxxSpeed, and higher performance than MaxxGrip. This version features Exo reinforcement in the sidewalls for added protection against abrasion and tearing, and can be fitted with or without an inner tube. What's more, the casing has been optimised for mounting on a 35mm internal width rim.
