The Mavic Cosmic SLR 45 Disc wheels, with their 23 mm UD2 carbon rim, are the highest-performance road wheels ever created by the French brand.
They are equipped with Infinity hubs, ensuring efficient power transfer thanks to optimized non-contact spoke lacing (no noise under load) and tension distribution. Front and rear spokes are identical in length. Easy maintenance thanks to a tool-free solution.
Cartridge bearings are double-sealed, with C3 internal clearance. The system automatically adjusts to ensure perfect, long-term rotation without any play.
Instead of drilling into the rim to anchor the spokes and fit the nipples, a threaded metal insert is integrated into the draping of the lower rim bridge, allowing the spokes to be screwed directly into it. The upper rim bridge remains intact. No need for a rim base to ensure watertightness.
The new Instant Drive 360 freewheel system is ultra-light and efficient. An oversized non-contact rubber seal reduces friction to a minimum, and a wide choice of adapters makes it compatible with a wide range of frames and axles.
