The Mahle X20 drive unit-hub is the new benchmark in the SmartBike industry. This ultra-compact, lightweight and intelligent system offers a full range of new riding possibilities and makes e-bikes indistinguishable from high performance bikes. The latest innovations provide the best assistance at all cadences, whether at high speed or climbing. The X20 is designed to move the rider and the entire industry forward.
It features the AMC (Automatic Motor Connection) system, which eliminates motor cables and allows the wheel to be positioned naturally. The 55 Nm torque completely eliminates drag when the maximum assisted speed (25 km/h) is exceeded, so as not to penalise the rider.
The hub motor is compatible with all standard freewheels and groupsets, up to 13 speeds. It features a new rapid freewheel replacement system that facilitates maintenance, keeping the motor running at all times.
