Description
The Abus Ivera 7210/85 chain lock will protect your bike effectively against theft. The chain is covered with a resistant IvyTex fabric based on a concept that has been used for many years in the industry at highly stressed points where moving parts need to be protected against wear.
Abus has chosen to exploit this concept to the full by using it for the casing of its chain locks, thereby not only increasing protection against abrasion but also enabling the casing to protect the bike against any damage caused by the chain. As well as being long-lasting, IvyTex technology has other properties: the high-tech fabric is durable and extremely flexible, making it waterproof and weatherproof. Water cannot penetrate the fabric, protecting the anti-theft device from corrosion. No more excuses in bad weather for not securing your bike for fear of getting it dirty.
The 7 mm square link chain is highly flexible and durable, so it won't damage your bike's paintwork. The sheath offers excellent protection against abrasion and absorbs no liquids. The chain, housing and locking mechanism components are made from special case-hardened steel.
