The DirectLink lever produces a powerful, positive feel the instant you press the lever to brake. It offers a practical solution for precise control.
This brake features Power Reserve Geometry technology, a new way of thinking about lever physics and hand comfort. This philosophy is radically different from others on the brake market. Because of the pivot placement, physics shows that with other brake levers, your fingers tend to slip off the ends when you pull. Here, the lever has been developed with a pivot close to the handlebars, reducing the lever's inner travel and creating an arc that naturally hugs your fingers, ensuring greater braking power.
The adjustable brake guard allows each rider to choose between powerful or progressive braking.
The new S4 caliper features four molybdenum-coated machined aluminum pistons for smooth repositioning and easy assembly, heat-shielded insulation and bleed port and adapter technology for easy bleeding.
