The Mavic Deemax DH wheels, as their name suggests, have been specifically designed for downhill riding. Validated by DH riders on World Cup tracks, they feature a new 30mm profile developed to absorb heavy impacts, shocks and other vibrations, providing maximum confidence on rough terrain.
Equipped with 28 J-Bent spokes in swaged steel, the Deemax DH offer the ideal compromise between robustness and dynamism for maximum performance on the most demanding descents. These spokes are designed to be easy to repair, so that you can get back on the road quickly, without having to make a tedious pit stop (or visit the workshop). Each wheel comes with two replacement spokes, for even greater peace of mind.
And if a DH bike is often damaged by its direct environment, the double Blackshield treatment protects the Deemax DH in the event of an impact, making it twice as resistant to impacts from stones and other scratches. So it's ready to take on even tighter trajectories...
The wide rim shape makes it easy to fit DH tyres with cross-sections between 2.0" and 3.0", giving riders exceptional versatility to adapt their tyre set-up to all conditions.
