The Goodyear Eagle F1 R is part of the UHP (Ultra High-Performance) Road range from the American brand. Developed at the highest level of cycling, it is the tire of choice for competitors and enthusiasts looking for low rolling resistance without compromising grip. Based on the Eagle F1, it uses cutting-edge technology and brand-new advanced compounds and fabrics to deliver first-rate racing performance.
A layer of multi-component material is added to the carcass to improve air retention while offering extra protection against punctures and cuts with minimal weight increase. An exclusive blend of synthetic and natural rubbers enriched with graphene and next-generation amorphous spherical silica, the all-new Dynamic:UHP compound has been developed with the sole aim of expanding the "magic triangle" by improving rolling efficiency, traction and durability. The combination of graphene and amorphous round silica improves rolling efficiency by 17.5%, center grip by 19% and edge grip by 17%.
What's more, the Eagle F1 R is equipped with a nylon rod-to-rod puncture protection system.
