Description
The Northwave Celsius XC GTX shoes are designed for Cross-Country and Marathon running during the winter season. They are made of Pique Gore-Tex membrane, keeping the foot warm and perfectly insulated. An additional lining on the toe of the foot further improves the thermal insulation.
The Jaws Carbon Reinforced sole with a stiffness rating of 8 ensures optimal power transfer, while the reinforced natural rubber heel provides extreme grip on all surfaces.The Overlap construction of the upper wraps the foot without any pressure points, helping to transfer every watt of power, eliminating energy dispersion. In addition, TPU reinforcements provide strategic 360-degree protection throughout the upper.
The Celsius XC GTX also feature an easy and consistent closure system with the SLW2 knob, the only one with a step release, which allows for a millimeter adjustment of the shoe in a quick and intuitive way. The new Easyfit Climaflex collar combines the extreme flexibility of the Rattler Gore-Tex membrane with the high thermal insulation of Neoprene, for greater mobility and protection.
Heel wrap and positioning is provided by an anatomical footbed and a solid thermoformed counter, in addition to the Arctic 4Layer Eva/Aluminum/Eva/Pile sole, which guarantees excellent thermal insulation. For your safety, the 360° reflective inserts offer increased visibility on the road.
