Every component of the wheel has been redesigned to maximize aerodynamic efficiency and reduce weight, allowing for precious energy savings and generating more speed for the cyclist's effort. Climbers will appreciate the low weight of the Bora Ultra WTO 33, enabling them to tackle ascents even faster, change pace instantly, and descend with great speed and safety. Crafted using Campagnolo's handmade ultralight carbon (HULC), the rims feature a Luxury Mirror finish (C-LUX) and non-drilled 2-Way Fit rim channels for perfect compatibility with tires without the need for rim tape. The beautifully sculpted carbon fiber front hub body is shaped like an hourglass to enhance aerodynamics and is securely attached to an aluminum flange.

Integrated spoke seats ensure perfect alignment, hidden Aero Mo-Mag nuts, and tapered Aero elliptical spokes with G3 lacing further enhance performance, while CULT ceramic bearings promise virtually friction-free rotation. The rear hub body, made of aluminum, is hourglass-shaped to improve aerodynamics and uses CULT ceramic bearings for virtually friction-free rotation. Its oversized 36-tooth ratchet system is compatible with N3W, XDR, or HG freehub bodies. Hidden Aero Mo-Mag nuts and Aero elliptical spokes with G3 lacing further enhance performance.

Features:

  • The completely redesigned Bora Ultra WTO 33 rim now has an inner width of 21mm and is compatible with tires from 25mm, but it is aerodynamically optimized for 25mm tires.

  • The Bora Ultra WTO 33 2-Way Fit rim complies with the ETRTO tubeless standard and is suitable for tubeless-ready and clincher tires.

  • Wider tires on wider rims increase air volume inside and, especially if tubeless, can be safely used at lower pressures, improving grip, control, and comfort while reducing fatigue without compromising speed.

Aerodynamic Details:

  • Hub bodies are thinner at the center to reduce the wind-facing area.

  • The 24 double-thickness Aero elliptical spokes have a reduced diameter from 1.6mm to 1.5mm.

  • New Aero Mo-Mag nuts are hidden inside the rim to minimize airflow over them but remain easily adjustable.

Stop and Go:

  • All new Bora Ultra WTO wheels are designed for AFS disc brakes (compatible with centerlock).

  • Campagnolo's exclusive G3 lacing system enhances torque transfer.

  • CULT ceramic bearings used in Bora Ultra WTO hubs have 5 ½ times less friction than standard steel bearings.

  • The oversized 36-tooth ratchet system is responsive and robust, compatible with N3W, XDR, HG freehub bodies.
