The versatile design of the rim takes into account real-world road conditions, not just those created in a wind tunnel, resulting in a rim shape that reduces aerodynamic resistance most effectively. Now even lighter, thanks in part to its construction in Hand Made Ultra-Light Carbon (H.U.L.C.), the Bora Ultra WTO 45 features finer elliptical Aero spokes and hidden nipples to slice through the air. The carbon hub body with Campagnolo's exclusive design is securely attached to an aluminum flange, and integrated spoke seats ensure perfect alignment. A stunning C-LUX finish and subtle new Bora Ultra graphics make the wheels elegant and stylish.
Campagnolo's CULT ceramic bearings spin effortlessly within the aerodynamic carbon front hub and the aluminum rear hub. The oversized 36-tooth rear freehub is compatible with N3W, XDR, or HG standards. Designed for tire widths starting from 23mm, they are aerodynamically optimized for 25mm tires. Available versions: Campagnolo N3W™, Shimano HG, Sram XDR™ freehub.

The overall efficiency of the wheels is determined by overcoming aerodynamic resistance, rolling resistance, and the effects of weight and slope.

The rolling resistance of this rim profile is lower with a 19mm inner rim channel width, especially with 23mm or 28mm tires, but aerodynamics are optimized with 25mm tires.

With a total weight of 87 kg, the rolling resistance of a 25mm tire at 40 km/h is as follows: tubular 30 watts, inner tube 28 watts, tubeless 25 watts.

The Bora Ultra WTO, therefore, has 2-Way Fit rims for tubeless, tubeless-ready, or inner tube tires.

Campagnolo molds the holes for nipples and valves directly onto the rims, eliminating the need to drill the carbon fiber later.

Each spoke hole has an internal seat for the nipple, machined into the laminated carbon of the rim, specially designed at the correct angle to fit snugly onto the hub.

Aero Mo-Mag nipples are perfectly aligned with each spoke, allowing very precise wheel assembly, reducing localized stresses, and improving fatigue resistance.
