Description
Mavic Allroad SL wheels have been specially designed for Gravel. Lightweight and responsive, they feature a wide 25mm rim without hooks that can accommodate tyre sizes from 30 to 64mm. The rim is made from Maxtal, a special aluminium alloy that guarantees lightness and strength. The rim connection is arc-welded, then the joint is machined to give a smooth finish. What's more, these wheels feature ISM (Inter Spoke Milling) 4D lightweight rim technology. This exclusive Mavic patented process significantly reduces rim weight and inertia without compromising durability. Faster acceleration, better handling and increased resistance: the perfect combination for getting the most out of your outings. Allroad SLs feature Black Shield treatment, doubling their lifespan against stone impacts and scratches.
Allroad S models feature QRM Auto cartridge bearings with double seals and C3 internal clearance. The system adjusts automatically to ensure perfect rotation over the long term without any play. These tubeless wheels do not require a rim base, as the lower bridge of the rim is pushed inwards and then threaded to allow the spoke nipples to be screwed on directly, leaving the upper bridge intact.
The Allroad S is equipped with the ultra-light and efficient Instant drive 360 freewheel system. An oversized non-contact rubber seal reduces friction to a minimum, and a wide choice of adapters makes it compatible with a large number of frames and axles.
