Shimano 105 R7100 Mecanichal Road Groupset 2x12S

The Shimano 105 2x12V mechanical groupset offers top-level performance in terms of gear shifting, power transfer and braking. It features a completely revised interface and a top-of-the-range 12-speed mechanical gearbox. The ergonomics of the Dual Control levers are adapted to a wide range of hand sizes, while the transmission's lower 1:1 ratio proves very useful on climbs.
As far as braking is concerned, the new piston design brings the braking of professional racers within reach of a wider range of riders. The 10% greater pad spacing reduces the risk of friction with the brake disc. The bleeding process is easier for maintenance. The new shape of the levers creates a shorter lever access curve, enabling riders with very different hand sizes and shapes to reach their levers comfortably.
SM-R70 discs offer powerful, consistent braking performance in all riding conditions. Featuring Ice technology, they considerably reduce heat build-up in the braking system to ensure consistent high-performance braking, even on the steepest downhill gradients. The centre Lock mounting system allows the rotors to be installed and removed quickly and easily, thanks to the spine support and locking ring.
A smoother, more natural drivetrain
The drivetrain features a new front derailleur for smoother, more natural gear changes.
The rear derailleur combines the smoothness and stability of the renowned Shimano Shdaow RD shifting system with direct-mount compatibility and greater development capacity.
The cassette will allow you to express your full potential on the steepest climbs as well as in sprints on the flat. It is compatible with Shimano 11- and 12-speed cassette bodies.
The CN-M7100 chain offers improved retention on the toothing thanks to an extended part of the inner plate. The new chain features a quick-link assembly and SIL-TEC treatment for longer off-road life.
