The Fizik Terra Artica X5 GTX shoes have been designed for mountain biking in the most extreme conditions. Fully insulated, waterproof and breathable, they are ready to ride in all weathers, whatever your riding style: technical snowy trails, descents in the rain, epic and icy Gravel adventures.
Featuring an insulated Koala Gore-Tex membrane, the Terra Artica GTX are fully waterproof, meaning you can rely on proven performance to keep you dry when it matters most. But more than just moisture protection, the advanced Gore-Tex technology is optimised for breathability.
To combat frozen toes and keep feet warm, these shoes have a brushed fleece lining. The effect is twofold, adding a soft layer that wraps feet in extra comfort while providing extra warmth for long off-road hikes in low outdoor temperatures.
The Terra Artica GTX take a two-piece approach to keeping feet stable and secure over rough terrain. The upper Velcro closure wraps around the ankle to provide a locked-in feel, while the lower section of the boot is secured by a single L6 BOA® knob, for infinite adjustments on the fly.
More versatile than ever, the X5 outsole has been redesigned for better grip and traction in slippery winter conditions. Featuring generous lugs and a rubber lining that covers the entire surface, including the midfoot, the X5 outsole provides a secure footing when steep, rugged trails force you to ride your bike.
