Attached to the bike frame, the frame lock accompanies you on all your journeys in town and country. Thanks to its universally adjustable hole spacing, the 6950M can be fitted to all common bicycle frames without any problem.
Comfort and security go hand in hand here: the tried-and-tested XPlus™ cylinder from ABUS offers great protection against manipulation attempts such as picking. The specially case-hardened steel used for essential parts such as the shackle, anti-theft cover and parts of the locking mechanism guarantees greater security against attacks on the lock. If the risk of theft is high, we recommend a second layer of protection with a frame lock chain or other ABUS locks. The choice is yours: in the R version of the 6950M, the key remains inserted in the cylinder even when the frame lock is open; in the NR version, it can be removed.
