Description
The Assos Equipe R S9 bib shorts will be your faithful training companion. They combine the technology of the Equipe RS model with everyday simplicity and practicality.
The Type.443 non-mesh fabric is compressive and abrasion-resistant. Its weight and compressive support are similar to the Type.441 from the Equipe RS range. It provides unrivalled breathability and support, as well as UPF 50+ sun protection. The racingFit cut provides a second-skin and aerodynamic effect. It has been specially developed on the basis of feedback from WorldTour cyclists and convincing results in real conditions. These shorts are micro-adjusted in strategic places, on the major muscles, to provide compressive support on the leg.
The Equipe R S9 has a highly elastic structure at the waist for a second-skin fit while limiting the pressure exerted on the abdomen and sensitive areas. It will stay perfectly in place thanks to the ultra-light anti-slip treatment on the legs, thanks to elastic bands and silicone micro-points.
The A-shape of the shoulder straps provides a secure hold at the lower back, stabilising the insert and main yoke in all conditions.
These shorts feature the S9 insert, a 9mm layer of shock-absorbing, yet highly breathable compression foam. It is formed by a thermal process that reduces the number of edges and, consequently, the risk of chafing. The patented triple-layer perforated foam in embossed textile ensures enhanced breathability, while eliminating superfluous weight.
The goldenGate stitching pattern secures the front and back yoke while allowing the central insert to move with your body without offering resistance.
