Description
The Mavic Cosmic Ultimate 45 Disc wheels offer the perfect balance between lightness, stiffness and aerodynamics. These carbon wheels have a monobloc construction for the ultimate feel combining the benefits of tubeless in its lightest version with the power of disc braking. They are extremely dynamic and aerodynamic, with a lightning-fast response to every pedal stroke, and offer exceptional performance on all types of roads.
These wheels have been designed in collaboration with Dan Martin and the AG2R U23 team. The new Instant Drive 360 freewheel system is very light and efficient. An oversized non-contact rubber seal reduces friction to a minimum and a wide range of adapters make it compatible with a wide range of frames and axles.
R2R carbon spoke technology offers even more lightness, stiffness and strength. These spokes run from rim to rim through the hub.
The full carbon rim profile, 45mm high and 27mm wide, is inspired by NACA profiles. The complex layered design optimises the stiffness to weight ratio. The outer layer benefits from our special UD² finish.
The rim is not drilled: the rim tape is not necessary to ensure watertightness, which guarantees perfect ease of use of the tubeless.
The 20 elliptical carbon fibre spokes and the high and thin flanges give established aerodynamic advantages.
