Description
Fulcrum Rapid Red Carbon DB wheels have been designed for speed on roads and trails. These carbon Gravel wheels are responsive, light and reliable. The first two qualities are guaranteed by the 700C carbon rim with an asymmetric "S-Shape" profile. This technology allows to obtain a better balance between the spokes tension. The optimised balance also means that the high performance is maintained over time. In addition, the special shape of the rim profile allows a 2.5% increase in lateral stiffness compared to a traditional U-shaped profile.
For maximum performance with tubeless tyres, the Rapid Red Carbon rims have a 2WF undrilled wall. They also benefit from the C-Lux Finish mirror finish, which facilitates tyre mounting. Finally, the wheel assembly is equipped with Mo-Mag technology, which consists in positioning the nut on the rim hole by means of a magnet.
Regarding the geometry, the rim has a 30 mm high profile, equipped with a "mini-hook" system that allows to extend the compatibility to a wider pressure range. Fulcrum's dimensional precision also guarantees greater safety against shifting at low pressure, thanks to the greater surface area available for covering due to the increased internal channel of 25 mm.
