Description
The Fizik Artica R5 GTX shoes will protect your feet from the cold during winter cycling trips. Featuring the GORE-TEX Koala insulation membrane, they are fully waterproof. So you can rely on their proven performance to keep you dry when you need to be. But beyond simple rain protection, the advanced GORE-TEX technology is optimised for breathability. This means that while rain is stopped at the surface, the moisture molecules of vapour and sweat inside the shoe easily escape through billions of tiny pores, for warmer, drier feet on cold, wet winter adventures.
Inside the shoe, a soft brushed fleece lining enhances both insulation and comfort, for an extra layer of comfortable protection against the worst of winter's elements, whether it's a hike in freezing rain or a full ride in the snow.
On the outside, a high-density PU laminate upper pairs perfectly with the lightweight GORE-TEX membrane, combining resilience and streamlined warmth for an agile shoe that maintains a high level of durability. The addition of a Velcro strap keeps the ankle in place, while a single L6 BOA knob makes adjustments easy, even with thick winter gloves.
