Description
The Pirelli Cinturato Gravel RC tyre has been specifically designed for Gravel racing. It is the result of the brand's experience in the world's biggest competitions. The tread design is inspired by the Scorpion XC RC, focusing on two key features: higher average speed on fast straights, better lateral grip in off-road corners.
The SpeedGRIP Compound is a gravel-specific rubber formula, born from Pirelli's experience in the World Rally Championship. This chemical formulation is based on the polymer matrix of the SmartGRIP compound specific to mountain biking while reducing its rolling resistance. Gravel use requires good speed and on-road capabilities, for this reason Pirelli engineers have modified the compound's characteristics towards greater energy efficiency with little compromise on grip, the result is a predictable compound with solid performance on and off the road.
In addition, this tyre features TechWall Gravel puncture protection.
