Description
The Park Tool CC-4 Chain Wear Indicator will let you know how worn your chain is, so you know whether or not to change it. Laser-cut, this tool accurately measures a long section of chain and strategically contacts the chain in three places, quickly and easily eliminating the guesswork of when chain replacement is needed. A worn chain will cause poor shifting and accelerate transmission wear. The tool works on any 5 to 12 speed derailleur chain (including SRAM® AXS®) and is designed to accurately indicate when a chain reaches 0.5% and 0.75% wear, points at which most chain manufacturers suggest replacement.
