Chill Zone Finish Line is the most advanced rust penetrating lubricant in the industry. Before you give up on a frozen crank bolt, a rusty derailleur spring, a seized seatpost or throw away your rusty chain, give Chill Zone a chance! Bike parts that normally need to be replaced can be reconditioned to ride another day. A special refrigerant propellant freezes the metal at temperatures as low as -50°F/-45°C. This causes the metal to shrink and create micro-cracks in corroded and galvanically fused metal parts. A penetrating release agent then breaks down the rust and drives it out. With Chill Zone, most seized parts are restored to full functionality.
- How to use Chill Zone
Simply spray the rusted part for 10 to 20 seconds and wait 2 to 3 minutes for the release agent to fully penetrate and break down the rust. For heavily rusted welded parts, spray longer (30-60 seconds) for maximum freezing effect, then wait ten minutes to an hour for the rust to be completely broken up. When rehabilitating a bicycle chain, soak a small section at a time.
