Description
The Northwave Celsius R GTX shoes will efficiently protect your feet from the cold during your winter rides. They are equipped with a Gore-Tex Pique membrane to keep your feet warm and perfectly insulated thanks to the extra lining on the ball of the foot for maximum insulation. Power transmission is provided by the NRG Air Carbon Reinforced sole with a stiffness rating of 8. The upper has an overlapping construction to reduce aerodynamic drag by evenly binding the foot without any pressure points; this helps transfer every watt of power and eliminate energy dispersion. The toe is reinforced with anti-abrasion TPU. The simple and uniform closure system is guaranteed by the SLW2 dial, the only one with a step-by-step release that ensures millimetric adjustment of the shoe in a quick and intuitive way. The new EasyFit Climatex collar combines the extreme flexibility of the Gore-Tex Rattler membrane with the high thermal insulation of neoprene, offering mobility, protection and fit. Heel wrap and positioning are provided by an anatomical bottom and a solid thermoformed counter in addition to the Arctic 4Layer insole made of Eva, aluminum, Eva and fleece to ensure excellent thermal insulation.
