Description

The Mavic Deemax 21 wheels have been tested by the best Downhill and Enduro riders on the most challenging terrain. Constantly evolving, the Deemax wheels come back stronger and faster than ever. They have been designed to absorb the most violent shocks and give the best performance on the most difficult terrain.
The 28mm wide aluminium alloy rim has a triangular profile to more effectively absorb major impacts, from rock shocks to hard landings and compression. The Black Shield treatment provides a unique finish, which guarantees its protection against scratches and abrasion. These wheels have 28 angled steel spokes, swaged and profiled to achieve a perfect balance between vertical flexibility and strength to cope with the very high stresses of Gravity.
The hubs are equipped with stronger bearings and the rear uses the reliable ID360 double ratchet system, which guarantees quick engagement and helps you accelerate out of corners. The wheel is designed for Boost or DH hub spacing and to be fitted with 6-hole brake discs. It can be fitted with Shimano HG9, Micro Spline and SRAM XD freewheel bodies. They are available in 27.5 and 29.
