Description
The Cosmic Ultimate T Disc wheels guarantee Formula 1-like performance, with unmatched stiffness, aerodynamics and pure speed. These ultra-light carbon wheels have a rim profile of 40mm high and 25mm wide inspired by NACA profiles. The 20 high-profile carbon fibre spokes and the high, thin flanges ensure that the aerodynamic properties of the wheel are unbeatable. The spokes do not stretch. They go from one edge of the rim to the other through the hub, forming one spoke instead of two. The result is a stiffer wheel that no longer requires mechanical attachment of the spokes to the hub.
The asymmetrical rear rim optimises the spoking angle on the cassette side. This way, the tension is balanced and the wheel resists the highest lateral stresses. The axles are combined with automatically adjusted sealed cartridge bearings for optimum preload. At the rear, the IS360 freewheel system ensures quick engagement and reduces friction. The hubs are compatible with thru axles and designed to be fitted with Center Lock brake discs.
