Description
The profile developed in collaboration with top Enduro riders has been optimized for mixed, dry, rocky terrain. The Hutchinson Griffus 2.40 tire was designed as a rear tire in addition to a Griffus 2.50 in the front for Enduro/DH use. However, it can also be mounted on the front for All Mountain use. The Griffus 2.40 has been designed to provide a high level of performance while retaining a lot of traction, braking and lateral grip. The angle of attack of the center tread studs promotes performance while their shape and positioning promotes traction. They create a wide edge on the opposite side to improve bite under braking. The studs are slightly hollowed out to avoid any slippage phenomenon on leaking ground.
