Description
The Campagnolo Ekar rear derailleur has been specially designed to tackle the difficult terrain of Gravel. The combination of fast, precise and reliable shifting, together with the maximum safety of the chain, lightness, durability and sturdiness, allows it to enter the world of off-road.
The design of this derailleur, with a medium-length cage, is compatible with the different Sprocket sizes on the three cassette options, from 9-36 to 10-44, which is ideal for all Gravel requirements. The 2D trajectory of the parallelogram is specifically designed for the Ekar 1x System, so that the rear derailleur performs precise mechanical movements to make the best use of the 13 Sprockets. Its pulleys, with a differentiated number of teeth, guarantee perfect operation and optimum chain maintenance to ensure safety and peace of mind, whatever the route you are riding. The cage clutch, which is permanently engaged for more reliable chain maintenance and quieter operation, can be locked to make it easier to remove the wheel.
Carbon fibre-reinforced polyamide and anodised alloys 7075 and 6082 are ingeniously used in the body and pulley train of the Ekar rear derailleur to obtain the best performance in terms of strength, durability and lightness, to ensure reliable operation over the long term and to guarantee excellent resistance to the shocks, sand and dust of gravel courses. In addition, the screws are made of stainless steel and will last longer under the most difficult conditions.
