Description
The Fizik Terra Aidon X1 saddle has been specially designed for use with all-suspension electric mountain bikes. Its short nose places the rider in a more planted position, allowing for greater stability, confidence and optimal control of the heavier electric mountain bike.
A gradual transition from the nose to the side wings allows for smooth position changes. The waved rear provides lower back support to help riders maintain their position when tackling technical climbs, as well as better control when the electric assist kicks in. Once you conquer the climbs and head downhill, with your seatpost down, the saddle becomes a control device. The Terra Aidon's rounded contours allow your legs to move smoothly and quickly around the saddle to help you stay on course.
In addition, the Terra Aidon X1 has a special ergonomic cut-out designed to relieve pressure on sensitive areas. A rubber layer at the bottom of the cut-out acts as a mud flap, blocking dirt and spills. In addition, to improve comfort, this saddle is padded with an exclusive Type 2 foam, which is thicker around the ischial bone area to support a more upright riding posture, as well as on the sides for better manoeuvrability and comfort when pedalling at a high cadence.
Finally, this saddle has a compliant shell to provide a higher level of flexibility. This controlled elasticity absorbs vibrations for increased comfort. To further support the shell, Mobius shaped closed loop Kium alloy rails have been added, improving structural stability and responsiveness.
