Description
Fizik Tempo Overcurve R4 Wide shoes are ideal for wide feet. They have a PU laminated mesh uppers, a Boa IP1-B dial closure and an R4 outsole for a perfect fit.
These shoes will offer you optimal comfort on every ride. Their classic aesthetics incorporate an advanced construction technique: a resilient polyurethane laminate combined with a comfortable mesh upper, which reduces energy loss and provides long-lasting support for the foot where it is needed most. Designed for cyclists with wide feet, they offer more volume and space in the forefoot, around the forefoot and metatarsals.
Closing is fast, reliable and safe, thanks to a microadjustable Boa IP1 dial. The shoe construction features a staggered collar that wraps around the ankle, tracing the natural alignment of the two malleoli. The result is an asymmetrical shape, with the shoe's throat curved over the foot from the outside to the inside.
The moderately rigid R4 outsole balances comfort and pedalling efficiency to make this a truly versatile shoe, featuring a structurally optimised lower profile with a 15% composition of infused carbon fibre. In addition, the sole offers efficient ventilation with internal channels for effective temperature regulation. The cleat is positioned slightly further towards the heel than traditional placement to optimise pedalling efficiency and reduce knee compression, which is particularly suitable for aggressive forward aerodynamic riding positions.
