Description
The Prologo Scratch M5 saddle won the Tour de France 2020! It has been designed for performance. In particular, it incorporates CPC technology, which maximises grip on the saddle in an aerodynamic position and helps to change position on the saddle quickly. In addition, the 3D polymer cones offer 10% more air cooling than standard closed saddles.
The new multi-sector MSS system contributes to improved comfort and performance. The active foam pads, separated from each other, create independent zones that function intelligently and individually, favouring the natural movement of the pedalling phases, both in push and pull, absorbing the vibrations that the base transfers to the saddle. The round shape of the Scratch M5 gives the pelvis a natural rotation, creating stability and support for the lumbar areas, and distributing pressure over a larger surface area.
Despite the absence of a perineal canal, the Scratch M5 has an open base capable of eliminating pressure points in the genital and pelvic area. The closure of the prostate area also offers better protection against extreme weather conditions (rain and/or mud).
In addition, this saddle is equipped with Nack rails, made of nano carbon fibre, Kevlar and aluminium filaments at the saddle clamp.
