Description
The Park Tool CC-2 Chain Wear Checker will let you know exactly when your chain needs changing. It measures link wear and stretch by simply inserting the tester pins into two links and then lightly pressing the swingarm gauge and checking the gauge in the reading window.
Tips
For 9 and 10 speed chains, replace the chain at, or just before, the 0.75% reading.
For 11 and 12 speed chain, replace at or just before the 0.5% reading.
For single speed channels, replace the channel at, or just before, the 1% reading.
Use CC-4 for SRAM® AXS 12-speed road chains.
