Description
The Vittoria Rubino Pro Graphene 2.0 tubular is ideal for training. Thanks to the use of Graphene 2.0, it is more resistant to punctures, offers better performance and more grip in curves. This hose is based on a standard Rubino platform and can also be used for race use.
What is Graphene?
Graphene is a revolutionary material in the shape of a thin, almost transparent sheet of carbon. In its most extreme form, its thickness is that of an atom (1 nanometre). Vittoria uses Directa Plus graphene called G, which is between 2 and 8 atoms thick.
The advantages of graphene :
- Enormous surface: 1 gram = about 2,630 m² which simplifies any chemical process.
- High mechanical strength: approximately 200 times stronger than steel ;
- High thermal conductivity: twice as high as diamond;
- Low density: half as low as aluminum;
- High elasticity: Six times as elastic as steel;
- High electrical conductivity, transparency, lightness, malleability and mechanical strength.
