Description
The new Sram X01 Eagle 12-speed cassette benefits from some evolutions in order to optimize its operation.
X-Dome and X-Glide 2 technologies used for its construction. The first 11 sprockets are machined from a single block of CroMo steel, with the same tiering as the X01 cassette, however the tine design has been redesigned to improve gear shifting speed, quiet operation and chain retention. A Narrow / Wide profile appears on some sprockets. The twelfth pinion of 50 teeth is machined in aluminium and riveted to the first 11. Sram has also worked on the durability of this cassette by developing a Titanium Nitride treatment that increases the life span compared to the X01 which was already very good.
