The Fizik Tempo Argo R1 is a versatile endurance saddle with a short nose and generous ischiatic support for stability. While a traditional saddle encourages cyclists to change position frequently for better leverage, the Tempo Argo R1 places the rider in a more planted position, which promotes greater stability and better weight distribution.
The short length of the Tempo Argo R1 allows the rider to sit further forward without exerting excessive pressure on the sensitive tissues. It also features an ergonomic cut-out that has been developed based on detailed pressure analysis and input from medical experts.
The Argo is the brand's most versatile saddle shape and each version adapts to different riding styles. Designed for endurance, the Tempo Argo offers riding sensations adapted to the balanced geometry of today's versatile road machines.
The upholstery is made from Fizik's exclusive Type 2 foam, which is slightly thicker at the pins to promote a more upright riding position. The padding is slightly softer and more progressive than the type used on the brand's racing saddles, ensuring better comfort over long distances.
