The Altura Vortex Compact Saddlebag is ideal for short to medium distance bikepacking. Designed to fit around the seatpost while offering adjustment for different saddle configurations, this lightweight, waterproof saddle bag is perfect for carrying gear while traveling or riding. It's the smallest model in the lineup but lives up to the big boys in terms of functionality.
With its welded seam construction and reinforced Hyperlon areas, the Vortex Compact achieves an IPX 6 waterproof rating, meaning it can withstand heavy rain for extended periods. It uses a simple hook-and-loop fastening system with a foolproof roll-up closure for an adjustable volume of up to 6 liters. In addition, this bag has reflective details and can accommodate a rear light.
