Pros: Cool Looking; High Visibility; Well Sealed; Ultra Bright. Cons: Difficult to open; Quick release mount a nuisance for owner but quick and easy for thieves. I must admit to having indulged in geekish delight when recieving a package all the way from France. The XF Supervision was lovingly packed within along with its' mate the FXF Supervision. I feel the 1.5 week delivery time was well within reason considering the great distance this package had to travel. The assembly instructions were simple; installing the batteries wasn't. This unit is so WELL SEALED that not only is it rain resistant. it would likely survive as many atmospheres of pressure as my Swiss Army watch. Once everything is put together and mounted. this is hands down one of the brightest tail lights I've ever seen. It's 270 degree view angle would give me confidence in even the darkest stretch of road and the 'Super Signal Mode' gives drivers an added heads up as to your presence. My biggest complaint with this product however lies not in it's performance but in the fact that I already have to buy a new one after less than a month of use! The quick release mount on this light is a bit of a pain to put on but very quick and easy to unbuckle and remove. I left my bike unattended for a short while and left the tail light on rather than go through the hassle of removing and reinstalling it. In my absence a thief snatched my new tail light. :(

Le plus simple et le plus efficace des éclairages arrières que j'ai utilisé jusqu'à aujourd'hui. Fixation sans outils et longue durée de vie des batteries et du produit.

J'ai utilisé ce produit dans de multiples circonstances en club l'hiver. sur Bordeaux Paris. en ville jour et nuit etc...J'en ai 6 en incluant les vélos de mes enfants et de mon épouse. Il en résulte que ses performances au niveau de l'éclairage sont excellentes et que cela contribue à améliorer la sécurité. Le système de fixation par contre est mal conçu il doit être resséré souvent. supporte mal les vibrations.Cela fini par nuire à la sécurité quend il se tourne doucement vers le sol. Il devrait être fourni avec un système de fixation "anti vol"( collier + vis/écrou) et vibration. Le système actuel devrait être une option pour ceux(qui s'en lasseront vite) qui souhaitent le chager de vélo. I've used this lights in many different locations and situations: winter club rides. Bordeaux Paris in summer. city night & day etc...I own 6 of them( wife and kids)Overall feeling is that the lighting performance and derived safety are excellent including in the fog but the connecting bracket design is poor. It needs frequent re-snugging and leads to reduced safety if and when the LEDs slowly drop down. It should come with a thieve and vibration safe mounting bracket and the quick release one should be optionnal.

The light can be visible hundreds meter. The automatic change from blinking position to steady by car beams give a good feeling on roads. The two regular batteries AA give long time of use and also easy to buy in every small supermarket. The fast attachemant and the swivel positioning enable to attach it in many places on the bike and also to use easily with more than one pair. The only disadvantage is the swivel bracket that sometime release when I change many time the position from vertical to horizontal and back. Nadav Bloch

Ce produit est excellent. Je roule énormément de nuit pour aller au travail en vélo. J'y vais tous les jours (40Kms AR). Sous la pluie. pas de problème c'est étanche. J'utilise ce produit depuis des années et croyiez moi. c'est du sérieux.

Belle qualité. bonne protection. mais ne doit pouvoir donner satisfaction que monté sur la tige de selle. Sur les haubans : le diamètre. le réglage de l'inclinaison et la largeur ne doivent pas permetre souvent le montage. Les 5 diodes rouges couvrent bien en horizontal (pas de façon homogène) mais peu en vertical. d'où la nécessité d'un réglage stable et précis pour bien être vus. L'articulation du système ne peut se faire que dans le plan du support et doit être serré avec un tournevis. optique déposée. Un bon système. à condition de l'employer dans des conditions restreintes. assez facilement démontable. Un ensemble pour avant et arrière homogène avec le FXF Supervision.

Il est assez limite au niveau de l'éclairage. surtout si on ne le regarde pas de face. D'autre lampes à moindre coût dans le marché actuel. se voient nettemment mieux. Le seul plus du produit sont ses deux diodes qui assurent une visiblité sur les côtés et son autonomie (de 80 à 200 heures). A utiliser en complément d'un autre éclairage.

liked the zefal supervision except it was hard to mount and dismount everytime i parked my bike. then tha strap boke that holds the light to the bike and there is nowhere a spare one to buy. so you can discard that light. if someone knows a place where to get a spare strap would be appreciated
