| How does it work? |

It converts energy from light into electric power, stores it until needed, and then provides the power to the application. It uses a photodiode semiconductor chip to generate electric power from sunlight, or from incandescent light bulbs. When the light shines on the chip, the chip provides immediate voltage and electric current. The chip also controls the power provided to a battery for later use at a later time by the application. |

- The source of photovoltaics
We use solar energy to make electricity. The process is called photovoltaics. If you have a solar-powered watch or calculator, you’re using photovoltaics! The source of photovoltaics normally converts from sunlight or incandescent light bulbs. Sunlight has higher efficiency in photovoltaic conversion than incandescent light bulbs.

The total maximum charge, expressed in ampere-hours, that can be withdrawn from a cell or battery under a specific set of operating conditions including discharge rate, temperature, initial state of charge, age, and cut-off voltage. You have invested in an alternative energy generating system. Make sure your battery is NOT your weakest link.
