The 2008 range versions of the Chorus front derailleurs have a standardized fork that is compatible with both standard and compact cranksets,
a front derailleur body redesigned so as to embrace the two plates and guarantee snappier shifting, and a new inner plate which is overturned compared with the previous one to improve the thrust of the chain when shifting towards bigger sprockets. The result is increased rigidity of the assembly to guarantee more than ideal performance.
